Joint Works AM²

Ijaz Akbar has just joined the MSMP laboratory at the Châlons-en-Champagne site. This project is funded by an Arts et Métiers doctoral contract and AM² collaboration with the University of Texas AM. He will be supervised by Mohamed El Mansori (thesis director) and Mourad El Hadrouz (Co-supervisor).

This thesis project aims to develop a digital twin of the 4D printing process of smart biomaterials. This digital twin will include, among other things, the simulation of the 3D printing process (FDM), the mechanical properties, and the functionalities obtained after manufacturing. The chaining of these different models aims to allow the optimization of the process from parameters relevant to the scales considered.
